Abstract
ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to analyze the impact of organization communication on employee performance of accounting department with organization commitment and job stress as intervening variables. This research was based on research by Chen et.al., (2006). This research was empirical research was conducted using simple random sampling and was data obtained from 109 of 159 questionnaires. The object of this research was employees of accounting department of BUMN in West Sumatera Province. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with an aid of AMOS software. Research findings showed that organization communication significant influence the performance. Organization communication has negative effect on job stress. Job stress has no influence on job performance. Organization communication has no influence on organization commitment and organization commitment has no influence on job performance. This research also showed that organization commitment and job stress were not intervening variable.
