This film tells a story between mother and child who have a different perspective and ideology about marriage. This comedy genre film is wrapped with elements of Batak culture. Various conflicts occurred between the two main female figures which became interesting things to be discussed further. The purpose of this study is to analyze the theory of the existence of Batak women represented in the film Demi Ucok which opposes the dominance of the patrilineal system in the Batak ethnicity. Efforts of the existence of the female characters in this film is one form of resistance of the main female characters against other female figures, therefore feminist literature is a study and initial step to see women's involvement in upholding feminist ideological awareness. This description of women is seen based on relationships between people, both the relationship between women and men or fellow women.
