EKRANISASI NOVEL DAN FILM GITA CINTA DARI SMA KE FILM GALIH DAN RATNA

Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, Semarang. Gita Cinta dari SMA is a novel by Eddy D Iskandar, which is transferred to the film Gita Cinta dari SMA by Arizal. The novel and movie tell the love story between Galih and Ratna. Their relationship was not approved by Ratna's father, due to differences in social status. Meanwhile, The Movie of Galih dan Ratna is a film remake by Lucky Kuswandi that tells the struggle of Galih and Ratna who aspire to revive a music record cassette store. The transformation from the novel to the film Gita Cinta dari SMA resulted in transforms, omissions, additions and replacements. The transformation process is analyzed by using the ecranization theory approach. The results of the ecranization theory can be seen the similarities and differences of the whitening process of the two objects. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis between the Film Gita Cinta dari SMA to Film Galih and Ratna change the story in the story line, description of events, stories of actors and elements of space and time. The process of transfrom, adapted to the context of the times and circumstances of adolescents during the millennial period. Keywords: Transformation. Change. Omission. Addition. Replacement.
