Abstract

ABSTRAK Analisa Pengaruh Tekanan Terhadap Nilai Efisiensi Proses Filtrasi Lumpur dengan Penambahan Koagulan Poly Aluminium Chloride (PAC) dan Al2(SO4)3 Menggunakan Alat Plate and Frame Filter Press Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan skema proses filtrasi untuk analisa tahanan medium filter (Rm), specific resistance to filtration (SRF), kadar air (moisture content) serta yield pada dewatering lumpur. Target yang ingin dicapai berupa optimasi perbedaan teka nan pada proses filtrasi lumpur. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada berbagai variabel diantaranya variabel bebas meliputi variasi tekanan (200 psi, 400 psi, 600 psi, 800 psi). Sedangkan variabel tetap meliputi volume lumpur, volume pelarut, kecepatan dan lama pengadukan, serta volume filtrat. Percobaan menunjukkan jenis tekanan yang optimum diperoleh yaitu pada tekanan 800 psi. Untuk analisa SRF sebesar 246.219,822 m/kg ; analisa Rm sebesar 7,43012E+12 1/m ; analisa kadar air sebesar 84,2 % ; analisa α sebesar 213.125.870,8 m/kg. Kata kunci : filtrasi, lumpur limbah, plate and frame iv ABSTRACT Optimization Effect of Coagulan Variation on Dewatering Efficiency of Activated Sewage Sludge Using Plate and Frame Filter Press This study aims to develop a filtration process scheme for analysis of filter medium resistance (Rm), specific resistance to filtration (SRF), moisture content and yield on sludge dewatering. The target to be achieved is to optimize the pressure difference in the mud filtration process. The study was carried out on various variables including independent variables including pressure variations (200 psi, 400 psi, 600 psi, 800 psi). While the fixed variables include the volume of sludge, solvent volume, stirring speed and duration, and filtrate volume. Experiments show that the optimum type of pressure is obtained at a pressure of 800 psi. For SRF analysis of 246,219,822 m / kg; analysis of Rm is 7.43012E + 12 1 / m; water content analysis of 84.2%; α analysis is 213.125,870.8 m / kg.
