TINDAK TUTUR DIREKTIF DALAM DIALOG FILM MERRY RIANA: MIMPI SEJUTA DOLAR PRODUKSI MD PICTURES (Sebuah Kajian Pragmatik)

This research is a library research that was entirely obtained from written sources. The object of research is the film Merry Riana: A Million Dollar Dream of MD Pictures. The purpose of this research is to describe the form and function of any directive speech acts contained in the Merry Riana film dialogue. The research uses pragmatic theory of directive speech acts. The research methods are data collection, data analysis, and presentation of the results of the analysis. The results showed that the directive speech acts function in the MD Pictures MRMSD film production dialogue was quite varied. The command has the function of sending 4 data, commanding 4 data, requiring 3 data, and forcing 8 data. The request has the function to request 10 data, to expect 6 data, to request 8 data, and to offer 2 data. The invitation has the function of inviting 6 data, persuading 3 data, and urging 5 data. The ban has the function of forbidding 4 data and preventing total 2 data. Advice has the function of advising a total of 8 data, suggesting a total of 7 data, and a reminder amounting to 6 data.
