Abstract

Latar Belakang. Kata Kunci : Evaluasi program, tuberkulosis Background : The tuberculosis control program has been implemented at each puskesmas in Ambon city. However, the decline in prevalence was not fast enough according to the challenges that still exist related to high TB and contained differences or differences in CDR rates between puskesmas and CDR. Objective: To evaluate the implementation of the TB control program on Case Detection Numbers in the puskesmas working area. Method: The type of research used in this study is descriptive analytic research using an observational approach supported by qualitative research. Samples were program holders and TB laboratory officers in Ambon City Health Center, collecting 44 respondents. Data analysis was carried out descriptively with the results of the analysis described in narrative form and comparing the rate of case data. Result : The results of the study showed that the case discovery program, treatment of TB patients and health promotion were carried out 100% by respondents in the puskesmas. Sputum examination programs were carried out well by 18 (81.8%) respondents from TB laboratory officers. This is related to the suspicion of TB not being approved by sputum pots to the puskesmas. The TB Officer program and laboratory staff have multiple tasks, demographic conditions that are far and difficult to reach by vehicle. The choice of location for TB promosis activities and the location of puskesmas far from where people live. Small laboratory conditions and should be separate for TB. Sputum, which is given by program officials to laboratory officers, is of poor quality. Conclusion: Running a TB control program has been going well but there is a transition that is not involving phlegm pots, demographics, some who seek treatment at other health facilities, incomplete laboratory rooms and poor quality sputum Keywords: program evaluation, tuberculosis
