Abstract
Latar Belakang : Penggunaan gadget secara terus menerus akan berdampak buruk terhadap kesehatan, anak-anak yang cenderung terus menerus menggunakan gadget akan sangat tergantung dan menjadi kegiatan yang rutin dalam aktifitas sehari – hari, dalam hal ini sering kali anak – anak lebih memilih bermain gadget sehingga menyebabkan anak-anak menjadi malas bergerak dan beraktifitas. Berdasarkan data profil kesehatan kabupaten Tegal, memperlihatkan persentase jumlah anak usia dini yang mengalami kegemukan (overweight ) sebesar 2,38%. Atas dasar hal tersebut maka peneliti akan melakukan penelitian tentang “Hubungan Penggunaan Gadget Dengan Risiko Kegemukan (Overweight) Pada Anak Usia Dini”. Tujuan: Mengetahui Hubungan Penggunaan Gadget Dengan Risiko Kegemukan (Overweight) Pada Anak Usia Dini. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus kontrol. Jumlah responden sebanyak 70 responden, terdiri 35 kasus dan 35 kontrol. Variabel independen penelitian adalah penggunaan gadget. Variabel dependen adalah risiko kegemukan (overweight). Analisis secara bivariat dan multivariat. Hasil : Durasi penggunaan gadget lama p= 0,018 (OR=3,580; 95%CI =1,249-10,265) dan frekuensi tinggi p= 0,08 (OR=4.354; 95%CI =1,462-12,961) terbukti memiliki hubungan bermakna berpengaruh terhadap risiko kegemukan (overweight) Simpulan : Penggunaan gadget memiliki hubungan bermakna dengan risiko kegemukan (overweight). Kata Kunci : Gadget, Kegemukan, Durasi, Frekuensi, Anak Usia Dini Background : Continuous use of gadgets will have a negative impact on health, children who tend to continue to use gadgets will be very dependent and become a routine activity in daily activities, in this case children often choose to play gadgets that cause children children become lazy to move and activity. Based on the health profile data of Tegal district, it shows that the percentage of overweight children is 2.38%. On the basis of this, the researcher will conduct a study on "The Relationship of Using Gadgets with the Risk of Overweight in Early Childhood". Purpose : Knowing the Relationship of Using Gadgets with the Risk of Overweight in Early Childhood Methods : This research is an case control study design. The number of respondents was 70 respondents, consisting of 35 cases and 35 controls. The independent variable of research is the use of gadgets. The dependent variable is overhight risk. Bivariate and multivariate analysis. Result : The duration of using old gadgets p = 0.018 (OR = 3.580; 95% CI = 1.249-10.265) and high frequency p = 0.08 (OR = 4.354; 95% CI = 1.462-12,961) proved to have a significant effect on the risk of obesity ( overweight) Conclusion : The use of gadgets has a significant relationship with the risk of overweight.
