Kajian Peran Kabupaten Kudus Sebagai Pusat Pertumbuhan Kawasan Strategis WANARAKUTI Provinsi Jawa Tengah Tahun 2012-2016

Abstract

Kudus Regency is the growth center of WANARAKUTI Strategic area which is established by the provincial government of Central Java through Perda No.6 on the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) of Central Java province in 2009-2029.The purpose of setting the strategic area is to facilitate the areas that are incorporated into the strategic area in cooperation in order to develop together and feel the development.In Kudus regency, the growth center experienced a low rate of growth of PDRB and tends to decline.Based on the case, there needs to be an evaluation of the role and function of Kudus regency as the growth center of WANARAKUTI. This research aims to find out how the role of the Kudus Regency as a center by looking at the functional and geographic and from the criteria of growth center.To know the state of Kudus Regency as a functional and geographic growth pole using descriptive analysis.Meanwhile, the criteria for growth center of Kudus Regency used descriptive analysis, classical typology analysis, location quotient analysis, and gravity analysis.This research uses secondary data from year 2012 to year 2016 which form PDRB Kudus Regency, Pati Regency, and Jepara Regency. Based on the results of the analysis of Kudus Regency has fulfilled the criteria as a center of growth both functionally and geographically because it has a concentration of business groups and pole of attraction that makes the community interested to come to the district Holy.The Kudus Regency does not have fast growing criteria because it is on Kudran 3 which is the area of advanced distress caused by the low growth rate of PDRB and the slowdown of the tobacco industry sector which is the flagship sector.In addition, the Kudus District has fulfilled its role that has a strong interaction with its hinterland and has a sector of processing industry as the superior sector
