ANALISIS KUNJUNGAN OBJEK WISATA GOA KREO KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

Semarang is one of the city in Central Java Provinces which has many great places for tourist. Goa kreo is one of the destinations in Semarang, which is the most visited destination by tourist in the category of natural tourism. This place is organized by Semarang City Culture and Tourism Agency. This research aims to analyze the effects of tourist travel cost to Goa Kreo, distance, travel cost to other tourism destination, tourist income, group of tourist, and tourist purposes, towards the Goa Kreo’s number of visitors. This research was done by direct survey and use 100 samples. It uses an Accidental Sampling method. Regression method is used to find the effects of tourist travel cost, distance, travel cost to other tourism destination, tourist income as the independent variables, towards the Goa Kreo’s number of visitors as the dependent variable. In addition, we use a variable group of tourist, and tourist purposes as well in the independent variables. This research shows that travel cost to Goa Kreo, travel cost to other tourism, and tourist income affect significantly towards number of visitors to Goa Kreo. Travel cost to Goa Kreo and other tourism destination has a negative effect, meanwhile income of tourist has a positive effect. In the other side, distance, tourist purposes, and group of tourist have no effect to Goa Kreo’s number of visitors.
