PERAN BANTUAN MODAL ZAKAT PRODUKTIF DALAM MENUMBUHKAN USAHA MIKRO DAN KECIL MUSTAHIK (Studi pada Pelaku Usaha Mikro dan Kecil Penerima Modal Zakat Produktif Baznas Kota Semarang)

Abstract

Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) are one of the important roles in a national economic development and growth. But the reality of micro and small businesses is still often experiencing limitations in capital adequacy and access to finance in formal financial institutions that are perceived as not pro-poor. Innovation emerged by channeling zakat funds productively which aims to help empower micro and small businesses that still need additional capital. This study aims to analyze the role of productive zakat from BAZNAS Semarang in helping to grow mustahik Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs).This research uses descriptive analysis method, instrument test which includes validity and reliability tests, and uses different tests or Paired T-Test tests conducted with the help of the SPSS program ver. 23. The number of samples in this study were 31 recipients of productive zakat assistance. The results of different tests or Paired T-Test showed that the variables of venture capital, business turnover, business profits and business assets experienced significant differences before with after earning productive zakat from BAZNAS in Semarang City. As for the labor variable, there was no significant difference at the time before and after receiving the assistance of productive zakat capital from BAZNAS in Semarang City, it was due to the small amount of productive zakat capital given.
