Abstract

ABSTRACT Setyadi, Muhamad Ravly. 2019. “Prinsip Sopan Santun dalam Film Animasi Kaguya Hime no Monogatari”. Thesis, Department of Japanese Language and Culture, Fakulty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The Advisor : Maharani Patria Ratna, S.S., M.Hum. This research has two goals. First, describe violations and obedience of maxim politeness in animated film Kaguya Hime no Monogatari. Second, describe the impact of violations and obedience of maxim politeness in animated film Kaguya Hime no Monogatari. This researh uses conversations in animated film Kaguya Hime no Monogatari as the data resource. This type of reseacrh is qualitative with descriptive form. The research consist of three stages. First, providing data using refer to method with techical notes. Second, analyzing data using “padan ekstralingual” method. The theory which used in this reach are Leech’s maxim of politness theory, Austin’s speech act classification theory, Searle’ Illocution act classification theory, and Alston’s perlocution vebrs. And the last was presenting data using informal method. Based on the analysis, the animated film “Kaguya Hime no Monogatari”, the lessons that speaker of compliance or violation of politeness maxim try to give the participants are to behave politely and treat others appropriately.
