Abstract

ABSTRACT Pratiwi W, Intan, 2019. “Majas dan Diksi pada Lirik Lagu Band Sekai No Owari: Kajian Stilistika”. A thesis in partial fulfillment of the requirement for S-I Degree Japanese Department, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, Semarang. Advisor Budi Mulyadi, S.Pd.,M.Hum. This research aims to finding and explaining about figure of speech and diction. The sources which used in research are four song titled Love The Warz, Hey Ho, Nemuri Hime, dan Maboroshi No Inochi sung by Sekai No Owari. The method which used in this research is structural method, which will only be focused on the search type of figure of speech and diction. The theory which used in this research are song lyric theory, structural poetry, and stylistics. The result of research showing that in the lyrics of the song Love The Warz, Hey Ho, Nemuri Hime, and Maboroshi No Inochi there are various kinds of figure of speech and diction found. The type of figure of speech contradiction totaled four, the type of figure of speech comparing totaled eight, and the type of figure of speech assertion totaled four.
