The Al-Miftah Fi Syarhi Ma'rifatil Islam, also known as Al-Miftah, is a script which contains the virtues of Islam, Al-Miftah was found in the residence of Mr. Zul Hilmi in Brunorejo Village, Bruno, Purworejo. The script was written by the late Judi bin Mujahir. This research was created for the purpose of fulfilling the final assignment, the edited and translated script describes the teachings of islamif principles, and the value of the teachings. To that end, two theories were adopted, Phylology theory and content analysis theory. The phylological analysis was used upon the script on it's descripton, transliterated, edited, and translated texts. The content analysis has 3 stages, namely, data acquisition, inference process, and analysis. Al-Miftah teaches two things, the pillars of Islam and harmony of faith. Analysis showed that the pillars of Islam was described in order of sequence. There are five pillars of Islam, which are, declaration of faith, obligatoty prayers, compulsory giving, fasting in the month of Ramadhan, and pilgrimage to Mecca. The harmony of faith refers to one's belief on prayers. The beliefs itself were predetermined by Allah which are, belief in the existance or Allah, belief in Allah's scriptures, belief in Allah's prophets, belief in judgment day, and belief in God's predestination. The content analysis reveals that it is imperative to follow the rules in praying to Allah. Keywords: Al-Miftah script, Phylology, Content Analysis, Pillars of Islam, Harmony of Faith
