Abstract

Adolescence were expected can adaptation with their environment, but there were some adolescence who were faced to the difficult situation was father's imprisonment. This research purposed was focused to the adaptation processed and rise the ability from teenager of difficult situation with fathers that have a fostered citizen status. This research using phenomenology qualitative approach with Individual Phenomenal Descriptive analysis method. This method was a data explication/esplikasi that can divide subject experience into three episode there were an episode before father’s arrest, the early phase father’s arrest, episode when father served the punishment. Total of the subject in this research were three persons and have been chosen with purposive sampling method with criteria (1) adolescence 13-17 years old, (2) have fathers that have a fostered citizen status and in the process of serving a punishment, (3) was not a recidivist, (4) domiciled in Semarang, (5) ready to be the subject and allowed by their parents. The result of this research was found that the three subjects got an impact of father's imprisonment directly or indirectly. The three subjects have a different experience in the process of becoming a resilience teenager. The three subjects were still in the process of becoming a resilience.
