PENERJEMAHAN WAKAMONO KOTOBA DALAM MANGA ONE PIECE 漫画「ワンピース」における若者言葉の翻訳

Abstract

ABSTRACT Ramadhan, Muhammad Nur, 2019. “Penerjemahan Wakamono Kotoba dalam Manga One Piece”. Thesis Departement of Language and Culture of Japanese Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The advisor: Elizabeth Ika Hesti ANR, S.S, M.Hum. This research aims is to describe translation methods and techniques which used in translating wakamono kotoba and examine whether the translation is equivalent or not. In this thesis the data wakamono kotoba form One Piece volume 1, 2 manga and its Indonesian translation version was collected. Then, the data was analyzed to find out what translation methods and techniques according to Newmark (1988) was used. Then, to determine the equivalence of translation by using Zokugo-dict.com and Weblio.jp online vocabulary, Kenji Matsura’s Japanese-Indonesian vocabulary and KBBI. The results of this research showed from 21 data that was used, 1) The most used translation method is free translaton. 2) The most used translation technique is modulation technique. 3) 12 data reach the equivalence and 9 data isn’t equivalence.
