Abstract
This research was conducted at PT Cipta Paramula Sejati by supported research gaps that showed different results. So, the purpose of this research is to determine the influence of job characterstics on organizational commitment through employee engagement. Data was collected through questionnares to 66 employees with sampling method. The techniques of data analysis in this research includes the test of validiy, reliability, classical assumptions, multiple regression, and Sobel test to examine the mediation effect. The results of analysis and discussion at this research were indicates that job characterstics have positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, job characterstics have positive and significant effect on employee engagement, employee engagement have positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Furthermore, employee engagement is proven as mediator relathionship between job characterstics on organizational commitment.
