Abstract

The existence of decentralization is expected to be able to improve the problems that exist in the center such as the lack of effective service to the community because the center does not know what is needed by the community so that there is often incompatibility or in-line. In addition, the existence of decentralization is expected to be able to overcome problems at the center as well as corruption. However, the fact that decentralization has actually provided a gap for local governments to commit corruption. Corruption in a decentralized system can be through the bureaucracy, because the government bureaucracy is the main provider of public goods facilities and various regulations that apply in an area. In this study aims to see how the influence of the level of regional independence, the level of community participation, Natural Resources, education, GRDP and fiscal balance funds against corruption. Then technically, this research contains stage of examination that are adjusted to the formulation and objectives of the study, namely: examination of the level of independence, level of politic participation, Natural Resources, education, GRDP, and fiscal balance funds against corruption. This research was conducted through a logistic regression model that included 35 districts / cities in Central Java during 2013-2017. The results of this study are that of the 6 variabels that the researchers used, there was only one variabel that had a significant effect on the probability of corruption in Central Java in 2013-2017.
