Abstract
Cooperation has an important role on the development of rural area and the development of the farmer. However, cooperation has a limitation caused by cooperation model and limitation of cooperation business. The aim of this research was to analyze the data collected using Participatory rural appraisal (PRA). In collecting the data, technique of Focus Group Discussion (FGD) that include all of members and candidate of members of cooperation was applied. The result showed that the cooperation development through the increase of cooperation capacity that take the form of Islamic financial lending and opening business unit of production material could improve the role of the cooperation in developing economic of the members.
