STUDI KUALITATIF : PELAKSANAAN PROGRAM DUKUNGAN PSIKOSOSIAL OLEH RELAWAN PADA BENCANA GEMPA BUMI DI LOMBOK, NUSA TENGGARA BARAT

Abstract

The implementation process of psychosocial support program in disaster accidents is important to support rehabilitation process of disaster survivors. However, there are limited studies regarding the implementation of psychosocial support program in disaster accidents in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to know the implementation of psychosocial support program made by volunteers on earthquake disaster in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.The study was descriptive qualitative study with phenomenology approach. Seven participants from six different organizations, which were the member of psychosocial support team in Lombok’s earthquake, West Nusa Tenggara in 2018, were chosen by purposive sampling method. Semi-structured interview were conducted by researcher and triangulation strategy used to enhance quality of data analysis. Thematic analysis was used to gain rich, detail, and complex data report. The result of this study obtained three big themes 1) psychology problems which were fear and traumatic experience as well as social problems which were lost of home and job found by most of volunteers, 2) psychosocial support vs trauma healing, 3) the steps of psychosocial support did not match with the guideline yet. The differences of psychosocial support implementation steps caused by different guideline used by every institution.The implementations of psychosocial support by institutions were vary. Regulation and guideline about psychosocial support program in disaster context must be made by government and spread up to all organizations that involved.
