Abstract

Along with the advancement of information technology, human life has also changed. The progress of technology, communication and the internet now makes community activities easier and faster. The online system provides changes in buying goods, ordering transportation, food and health services online. Lately, there have been many emerging medical practice applications through online applications. With the existence of health services through online applications consumers can save time and money. This study aims to determine legal relationships between parties in online application-based health services and to find out legal protection for consumers in online application-based health services. The research method used is a normative juridical method, using secondary data in the form of books, articles and relevant legislation. This research gets results, namely the relationship between application companies and consumers is an independent relationship, the relationship between application companies and doctors, pharmacies, or other parties is a partnership relationship, and the relationship between consumers and application company partners is the relationship between providers and users of goods and / or services. The actual corporate responsibility of the application is limited to the use of the application. Whereas, the responsibility for the risks received by consumers is the responsibility of the partners of the relevant application companies that arise due to negligence and inadvertent conduct of their professional duties or non-fulfillment of consumer rights stipulated in the law.
