PERBEDAAN KARAKTER SUPERHERO ANTARA KOMIK LABA-LABA MERAH DENGAN KOMIK SPIDERMAN (Sebuah Kajian Sastra Bandingan)

Thesis (S1) Indonesian Literature Culture Faculty of Diponegoro University Semarang. Adviser Dr. Muh. Abdullah, M.A. dan Fajrul Falah S.Hum., M.Hum. This study aims to analyze a comic entitled Robot and The Superior Spiderman # 1 whose main characters have some similarities. The two main characters in the comics will be analyzed using structural theory, while to find the significant differences in character figures .using comparative literary theory. The method used in this research is a qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research which has descriptive characteristic and tends to use analysis. The data collection stage used literature studies in the form of comic books entitled Laba-Laba Merah and Spiderman comics, as well as literature related to structural theory and comparative literary theory. Based on the results of comparative analysis between the main characters of Laba-Laba Merah from Robot comic with Spiderman comics from The Superior Spiderman # 1 comic, through the appearance aspect both of the main characters are very similar, while through other aspects, such as aspects of humanity, mastery of technology, culture, and mentality, this study found many differences. These differences provide an overview of the different ways of working, how to think, and even how to overcome the problems carried out by two superheroes from two different regions.
