HUBUNGAN ANTARA DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PASIEN PASKA STROKE

Abstract

Stroke One of the world's number one causes of handicap. The impact of stroke was physical or mental disability. A physical disfunction affects to quality of life. Stroke survivor who has a poor quality of life need relative support and social support also. Family support was a intepersonal relationship that can improve the quality of life on a person. The aims study was to identificationthe influence family support to world quality of life of stroke survivor. The research was conducted using a corelative descriptive research design and used a cross sectional approach. Sampling techniques used purposive sampling. There are 80 stroke survivor involved in the study. The criteria inclusion where stroke survivor more than one more. The results should 66 respondents (82.5%) has good family support. Minewhile 42 respondents has poor quality of life. The bivariate analysis demonstrated that family support influenced quality of life in stroke survivor p value 0.041 (p < 0.05). The study concludedthat family support was is very importend in stroke survivor. Nurses roles in the rehabilitation was providing education to and hard to family support as well as quality of life stroke survivor. Keywords: stroke, family support, and quality of life
