Abstract

ABSTRACT Sitio, Andela. 2019. “Etos Kerja Orang Jepang Yang Tercermin Dalam Kotowaza”. A thesis, Department of Japanese Language and Culture Studies, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The Advisor S.I Trahutami, S.S, M.Hum. This Study analyzes the kotowaza that meaning related with jobs. The purpose of this analyzes is to describe meaning of kotowaza and describe Japanese culture that related to the jobs. This study uses the data obtained from dictionary, journals, and Japanese website. The data were collected by the technique of record. After that, analyzes the meaning of kotowaza and Japanese culture that related to the jobs using method of qualitative descriptive and method of informal presentation of data analysis result, that is presenting the result of data analysis with words. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that (1) the meaning of kotowaza that related to the jobs is correspond to hard work, time discipline, responsible, focus, never give up, and careful. (2) Considered of the meaning of kotowaza that related to the jobs, there is 8 (eight) Japanese culture related, that is : hard work culture, never give up, time discipline,economical, responsible, shame, careful, and focus.
