Abstract

Nurse's Perception of the Implementation of the Function of the Team Leader in Class 3 Inpatient Room of RSUD Kupang Xvii + 75 Pages + 9 Tables + 2 Pictures + 14 Attachments The implementation of a professional nursing process is led by a team leader whose function is to organize, guide and evaluate every action taken by the implementing nurse. The team leader in carrying out his duties must be in accordance with nursing management functions, namely planning functions, organizational functions, directional functions, and supervisory functions. The four functions of nursing management when running well can increase the effectiveness in providing nursing care to clients, increase client satisfaction as recipients of health services, increase satisfaction of nurses as health care providers so that it can have a positive impact on improving the quality of service of a hospital. This study aims to determine the perceptions of nurses implementing the implementation of the team leader function in Kupang Hospital. This study uses a descriptive survey design, the total sample of 50 respondents with total sampling technique. Data collection uses a modified questionnaire and has been tested the value of validity using the person product moment formula with a significant value of 0.005, the r table value is 0.3061 with the value of r count between 0.317–0.7774. The research questionnaire tested the reliability value using the Cronbach Alpha formula alpha r value was 0.912. Data analysis using nominal data distribution, namely using the mean value of the results is presented in the form of a percentage. The results showed that nurses' perceptions about the implementation of the team leader function in Class 3 Inpatient Room were good with a total frequency of 26 respondents and a total percentage of 52.0%. Improved implementation of team leader functions is recommended for nursing care services that are more optimal in improving the quality and quality of nursing services.
