Abstract
Intensitas pencahayaan yang nyaman diperlukan pada pekerjaan yang membutuhkan ketelitian tinggi dan proses kerja yang terus menerus seperti pada industri-industri. Perusahaan tekstil memproduksi benang dan kain jadi dengan proses kerja yang monoton dan terus menerus. Pekerjaan bagian loom membutuhkan ketelitian tinggi dalam proses menenun benang-benang pakan untuk membentuk anyaman kain. Pada saat survei awal diperoleh bahwa intensitas pencahayaan lokal berkisar 96-149 lux sedangkan Nilai Ambang Batas yang diperbolehkan sebesar 300 lux. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan intensitas pencahayaan lokal, mendeskripsikan ketajaman penglihatan operator loom, dan menganalisa hubungan intensitas pencahayaan lokal denga ketajaman penglihatan. Jenis penelitian adalah explanory dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi berjumlah 30 orang operator loom dengan sampel sebanyak 25 orang yang diambil secara purposive. Intensitas pencahayaan diukur dengan luxmeter sedangkan ketajaman penglihatan diukur dengan kartu baca snellen. Analisa bivariat dengan uji korelasiPearson Product Moment pada taraf signifikan ( alfa = 0,05% ) dengan nilai r = 0,444 dan p value 0,026. hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara intensitas pencahayaan lokal dengan ketajaman penglihatan. Terdapat 1 orang operator loom yang memiliki ketajaman penglihatan kurang sedang (dengan efisiensi penglihatan 50%), 3 orang operator loom dengan ketajaman penglihatan hampir normal (dengan efisiensi 88,75%-90%), dan 21 orang operator loom memiliki ketajaman penglihatan normal (dengan efisiensi 96,25%-100%). Perusahaan perlu melakukan inspeksi walk through survey, meningkatkan intensitas pencahayaan lokal dengan menambah jumlah lampu, menempatkan tenaga kerja dengan visus yang normal, membersihkan dinding dan mengecat kembali dinding dengan warna putih secara berkala. Operator loom hendaknya tetap menjaga dan memelihara kesehatan mata. Kata Kunci: pencahayaan lokal, ketajaman penglihatan, operator THE CORRELATION BETWEEN INTENSITY OF LOCAL ILLUMINATION AND EYESIGHT DURABILITY OF LOOM OPERATOR TEXTILE COMPANY AREA ON DISTRICT SEMARANG Intensity of illumination that comfortable is needed by work which need accuration and have a continued process of work like in ussual companies. Textile companies produce yarn adn fabrics with monoton and continued process. Working on loom unit need accuration to weaving yarn pakan for making fabrics. At the first survey the intensity of local illumination range 96-149 lux however the illumination that allowed is 300 lux. The aim of this research was knowing the intensity of local illumination, measuring the eyesight durability and analyzing the correlation between intensity of local illumination and eyesight durability. This was and explanatory research with cross-sectional approachment. Research population amount to 30 loom’s operators by sample as 25 peoples that was taken by purposive sampling. The illumination was being measured wit luxmetre and eyesight durability was got from the measurement of right eye and left eye visus by snellen card. Bivariat analyse using Pearson Product Moment test at 0,05 % level of significant with p value 0,026. The statistical result showed thet there were significant between intensity of local illumination and eyesight durability (r= 0,444). There were 1 operator have medium low vision (with eyesight efficiency 50%), 3 operators have almost normal eyesight durability (with eye efficiency 88,75%-90%), and 21 operators have normal eyesight durability (with eye efficiency 96,25%-100%). The company have to done walk through survey inspection, have to increase the intensity of local illumination with increase the number of lamp (by machine engeneering), choose operators with normal eyesight durability, the wall need to be clean up and repaint with white colour temporary.
