Abstract

This research was conducted to examine how much influence Non Performing Loans (NPL), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Debt Equity Ratio (DER) to Banking Performance. This study uses five independent variables and one dependent variable. The sample used in this study amounted to 24 banks that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2013-2017. Samples were taken using purposive sampling method. The analysis used in this study is the classic assumption test, the F statistical test, the t statistical test, and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression models. The results of this study indicate that NPL has a significant negative effect on bank profitability, CAR and NIM have a positive effect on bank profitability significantly, LDR has no significant positive effect on bank profitability and DER has no significant positive effect on bank profitability.
