Abstract
Hikayat Kapitan Yonkor is a historical literature work. To know the historical truth contained inside, ihis work need to be viewed from two sides, which is intrinsic side. Research from intrinsic side covers the literary figure, plot, and background. The other research from extrinsic side covers the view from historical point of view, which covers historical figure, events, and background.
