PENGARUH HARGA, INFLASI, NILAI TUKAR DAN PENDAPATAN TERHADAP VOLUME EKSPOR KERTAS INDONESIA TAHUN 2002- 2014 KE JEPANG, HONGKONG, TAIWAN, SINGAPURA, AUSTRALIA

Abstract

The large decline in demand for paper exports in 2014 and occurred in the main destination countries for paper exports was an obstacle. Paper exports fell by 3.22% in 2014. Not only paper, the trend of paper pulp exports also fell by 6.74% in 2014. The countries that experienced a significant decline were Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia. unstable causes fluctuating volume of paper exports. Increased volaitility of the exchange rate of export destination countries is also one of the obstacles to paper demand. inflation in export destination countries caused a decline in paper exports.Growth GDP per capita will illustrate the opportunity for paper exports in the destination country. This study aims to analyze the effect of the prices, inflation, exchange rates and income on the volume of Indonesian paper exports in 2002-2014 to Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia. The data used primary data in the form of panel data. The method used to collect data in this reaserch is by multiple linear regression analysis using E-views. Based on the results of the study concluded that the price variable, exchange rate and income have a positive and significant effect on the volume of paper exports, while the inflation and volatility variable has a negative and not significant effect on the volume of Indonesian paper exports 2002-2014 to Japan, HongKong,Taiwan,Singapore,Australia.
