Abstract
PT. Tri Nugraha Farm merupakan perusahaan peternakan sapi yang mengelola limbah manure sapi menjadi pupuk organik. Dalam prosesnya masih banyak manure yang tidak termanfaatkan dan inefisiensi proses produksi sehingga mengakibatkan limbah yang mencemari lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peluang dan kelayakan penerapan produksi bersih pada kegiatan pengelolaan limbah kotoran ternak sapi (manure) menjadi pupuk organik di perusahaan tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan proses produksi yang belum efisien karena masih terdapat keluaran bukan produk berupa ceceran materi pupuk organik, manure yang tidak terkelola, limbah cair berupa lindi, serta emisi gas rumah kaca. Berdasarkan analisis kelayakan secara teknis, ekonomi dan lingkungan terdapat tiga prioritas alternatif peluang produksi bersih yang direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan, yaitu memperbaiki proses dan teknologi pengomposan, mengumpulkan materi pupuk organik yang tercecer pada saat proses produksi, serta menggunakan sisa air minum ternak sapi untuk proses produksi. Penerapan tindakan produksi bersih dapat memperbaiki mutu pupuk organik, meningkatkan kapasitas produksi sekitar 29,74%, mengolah manure yang tidak terkelola, menurunkan emisi GRK, menurunkan biaya produksi 8,77% dan meningkatkan keuntungan 3,50% per ton produksi pupuk organik per tahun. Kata kunci: produksi bersih, peternakan, sapi potong, manure, pupuk organik PT. Tri Nugraha Farm is a cattle farm company that manages cow manure waste into organic fertilizer. In the process there are still many manures that are not utilized and inefficiencies in the production process resulting in waste that pollutes the environment. This study aims to examine the opportunities and feasibility of implementing cleaner production in manure management activities into organic fertilizer in the company. The results showed that the production process was not efficient because there were still non-product outputs in the form of scattered organic fertilizer material, unmanaged manure, leachate liquid waste, and greenhouse gas emissions. Based on the technical, economic and environmental feasibility analysis, there are three priorities for cleaner production opportunities that are recommended to be applied, namely improving the composting process and technology, collecting organic fertilizer material which is scattered during the production process, and using the remaining cattle drinking water for the production process. The implementation of cleaner production measures can improve the quality of organic fertilizer, increase production capacity by around 29.74%, process unmanaged manure, reduce GHG emissions, reduce production costs 8.77% and increase profits by 3.50% per tonne of organic fertilizer production per year .
