Abstract

Kadar kolesterol dalam tubuh adalah satu faktor terpenting untuk menentukan risiko seseoorang untuk menderita penyakit pembuluh darah jantung. Ada beberapa faktor yang terbukti melalui penelitian dapat mempengaruhi kadar kolesterol dalam darah, antara lain usia, berat badan, pola makan, aktifitas fisik, merokok, stres dan faktor keturunan. Pada penelitian Dinas Kesehatan Propinsi Jawa Tengah tahun 2006 didapatkan prevalensi hiperkolesterolemia sebesar 26,1% pada laki-laki dan 25,9% pada perempuan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persentase lemak tubuh, indeks massa tubuh, asupan lemak jenuh, tidak jenuh dan serat dengan kadar kolesterol darah pada wanita dewasa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 orang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian explanatory research (penelitian penjelasan), dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Intrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar informed consent, kuesioner penyaring, microtoise, timbangan injak, formulir recall 24 jam, formulir identitas responden dan Accutrend GCT. Analisis data menggunakan pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden memiliki persentase lemak tubuh agak tinggi (11,8%), berstatus gizi gemuk (70,6%), asupan lemak jenuh seluruh responden tidak sesuai anjuran (100,0%), responden memiliki asupan lemak tidak jenuh tidak sesuai anjuran (41,2%), seluruh responden memiliki asupan serat kategori kurang (100,0%), serta responden memiliki kolesterol kategori tinggi (23,5%). Analisis statistik menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara persentase lemak tubuh dan indeks massa tubuh dengan kadar kolesterol darah, sedangkan antara asupan lemak jenuh, lemak tidak jenuh dan serat dengan kadar kolesterol darah menunjukkan ada hubungan yang bermakna. Disarankan perlu adanya penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pentingnya mengurangi asupan lemak jenuh, meningkatkan asupan lemak tidak jenuh dan serat serta olahraga dalam upaya penurunan kadar kolesterol darah. Kata Kunci: Kadar kolesterol darah, Prersentase lemak tubuh, IMT, Asupan Lemak,Asupan serat Cholesterol level is a risk factors of cardiovascular disease. There are some factors which have been proven by research, able to influence cholesteol on the blood, such as : age, weight, comsumption patern, physical activity, smoking, stress and genetical factors. According to The Health Department of Central Java Regency on 2006, hypercholesterolemia prevalency is 26,1% for men and 25,9% for women. The purpose of the study was to find out correlation between percentage body fat, body mass index, saturated fat, unsaturated fat and fiber intake and blood cholesterol level to adult women. The sample of this study consist of 34 people. The study was explanatory one with cross sectional design. The instument of the study are informed consent, screening quesioner, microtoice, mechanical personal scale, form recall 24 hour, form identity respondent an Accutrend GCT. The data analyzed by pearson product moment. The result shows that respondent have middle high percentage body fat (11,8%), nutrition status of fat (70,6%), saturated fat intake higher than standard (41,2%), the mean of fiber intake are less than standard is 100,0% and respondent that have high cholesterol level categories are 23,5%. Statistical analysis shows that no correlation between percentage body fat, body mass index and blood cholesterol level. But there is a significant correlation between saturated fat, unsaturated fat and fiber intake and blood cholesterol level. The recomendations are to educate people with information about the importance to reduce high saturated fat consumption, to increase fiber and unsaturated fat consumption, to exercise sport regularly in order to reduce blood cholesterol level.
