PENGARUH PERUBAHAN FUNGSI LINGKUNGAN BINAAN TERHADAP CITRA KAWASAN WISATA TEKSTIL CIGONDEWAH KOTA BANDUNG

Abstract

The Cigondewah is a region that become the tourist area of cloth shopping, majority of the Cigondewah region user are salesman and businessman that mostly are the main economic agents. The marketing activity that growth and develop can affect the building in corridor around the market. The presence of the textile industry region in those area gives its own color to the changes in the built environment functuin in the road corriodor of Cigondewah. This study aims to determine the effect of the changes in the built environment function against the image of the textile tourism region in Cigondewah in Bandung. The quantitative rationalistic are used with gathering data through literature study, questionaires, and fi eld observation. The statistic data analyzing with regression test use SPSS 19.0 software for Windows. The result of this study show that there are signifi cant changes of built environment function against the image of textile tourism region in Cigondewah in Bandung at 41,0%, while the rest at 59.0% that form the region image, are affected by other model outside this study.
