Abstract

Timah Hitam (Pb) adalah suatu logam berat yang sangat berbahaya dan dapat memberikan efek-efek toksik pada hematopoietik, ginjal, syaraf dan saluran cerna. Petugas parkir bekerja di area parkir selama 7 jam sehari, dilingkungan kerjanya terdapat faktor-faktor yang berbahaya bagi kesehatan, sal;ah satunya adanya paparan timah hitam (Pb. Dengan kondisi tersebut mengakibatkan petugas parkir mengalami sakit akibat kerja yaitu timbulnya tanda-tanda keracunan pusing, mual, sesak nafas, radang saluran pernafasan,38 petuga parking, 11 orang (28,9%)diantaranya mengeluhkan pusing,mual,lemas dan sesak nafas selama bekerja. Peneltian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar timah hitam (Pb) di udara dengan kadar timah hitam (Pb) dalam darah dan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dalam darah pada petugas parkir Plasa Simpang Lima Semarang tahun 2007.Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian survei deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dan sampel petugas parkir sebanyak 38 orang, data diperoleh melalui pengukuran dan pemeriksaan laboratorium, analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan taraf signifikasi 0,05.Hasil uji statistik menunjukan hubungan timah hitam di udara lingkungan kerja dengan kadar timah hitam dalam darah (P value = 0,798)dan hubungan kadar timah di udara lingkungan kerja dengan kadar hemoglobin dalam darah (P value = 0,505)berati tidak ada hubungan kadar timah hitam di udara lingkungan dengan kadar timah hitam dalam darah dan kadar hemoglobin.Hasil pengukuran kadar timah hitam di udara lingkungan kerja dengan kadar timah hitam dalam darah serta hemoglobin masih dalam batas normal. Saran bagi perusahaan, monitoring terhadap lingkungan kerja dengan cara melakukan pengujian terhadap kualitas udara khususnya timah hitam (Pb) di lingkungan kerja dan mengadakan pemeriksaan kadar timah hitam dalam darah bagi petugas parkir secara berkala,satu tahun sekali. Bagi pekerja disarankan tetap menjalankan tugasnya sesuai sistem kerja yang telah ada. It can give toxic effect for hematopoietik system, kidney system, nerve system, and digestion. Parking officer work in parking area seven hours a day, Thare are a lot of factors endanger their health in this working area,one the factor is lead (Pb). This condition result several sickness to the parking officer. It is considered as lead poisoning sign such as vertigo,nausea, dyspnea/asthma and inflamation of respiratory track. Eleven from thirty eight (28,9%)parking officer complain about their sickness such as vertogo,nausea, and asthma in work hours. This research is done to understand the correlation of lead (Pb) content in the air of working area to lead (Pb) and hemoglobin content in the blood of parking officer in Simpang Lima Plasa Semarang of year 2007. This research uses deskriptive survey as type of research with cross sectional approach. Population n sample are taken from 38 parking officer in Simapang Lima plasa.is taken from measuring and laboratory checks up.analysis uses pearson correlation with signification degree 0,05.Statistic test result show the correlation of lead (Pb)content in the air of working area to lead (Pb)content in the blood (P value = 0,798 and correlation of lead (Pb) content in the air of working are to hemoglobin (Hb) (P value = 0,505). These mean that there is no correlation of lead (Pb) and hemoglobin (Hb) conten in blood .Measuring result show that lead (Pb) content in the air of working area is above average where as lead (Pb)and hemoglobin content in the parking officer blood are still in the fair condition. Suggestion for company are monitoring environment work by conducting examination to air quality specially lead environment work and perfom lead rate inspection in the blood for parking officer by routine, one year once.
