Transformasi Novel ke Film Kirishima, Bukatsu Yamerutteyo (Kajian Ekranisasi) 『桐島、部活をやめるってよ』小説と映画の変容 （翻案文学論）　

Abstract

ABSTRACT Tunjung, Luluk Sekar. 2019. “Transformasi Novel ke Film Kirishima, Bukatsu Yamerutteyo (Kajian Ekranisasi)”. Thesis, Japanese Literature, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University, Semarang. The First Advisor Laura Andri R.M, S.S, M.A. The Second Advisor Nur Hastuti, S.S. M.Hum. The method that used on this research is comparing method with the comparative literature. The material object from this research is the novel and movies. The formal object from this research is to reveal any additions, subtractions and variation changes of the forming structure of novel to the movie like themes, characters and characterizations, plot and setting that can effected on the storyline and message that they want to deliver to the viewers or readers. The aims of this research are to explaining forming structure of novel and the movie, also to describe transforming process including additions, subtractions and variation changes from novel to the movie of Kirishima, Bukatsu Yamerutteyo. The results obtained from the research are; forming structures in the novel there are social force and egoic force themes, while in the movie there are physical force, social force and egoistic force themes. Characters and characterizations based on typical characters in the novel and movie are; Kirishima, Kikuchi Hiroki, and Ryouya Maeda. The neutral characters found in the novel are; Fuusuke, Sawashima, and Miyabe Mika, Ryuuta, Takefumi, Shiori, Erika, Saori Miyabe, Kousuke ad Hino, Risa, Kasumi, and the Baseball Captain. Neutral characters in the movie are; Risa, Sana, Kasumi, Ryuuta, Tomohiro, Fuusuke, Kubo, Sawashima, Mika, Takefumi, and the Baseball Captain. The adaptation theory process of the movie based on the novel there are; 7 additions, 6 subtraction and 7 variation changes.
