Indonesian Literature Department, Bachelor Program, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. Semarang. Supervisor: Dr. Redyanto Noor M.Hum. and Drs. Mulyo Hadi Purnomo, M. Hum. This research describes the reception of Indonesian Literature students of Diponegoro University batch 2014 to the novel “Dilan: Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990” by Pidi Baiq based on structural aspects. The material object of this study is Indonesian Literature students of Diponegoro University batch 2014 and selected based on the purposive sampling technique. The data collection methods used the research instrument in the form of a closed questionnaire and attached by the reason of the answer. Data processing methods use descriptive statistical analysis techniques with Microsoft Excel. Data presentation methods use tabulation methods in the description of research results and qualitative methods in the discussion of research results. The results showed, respondent reception to the novel “Dilan: Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990” is quite high. It means that respondent could understanding the intrinsic elements easily.
