Adviser (I) Mulyo Hadi Purnomo, M.Hum. and adviser (II) Khothibul Umam, S.S., M.Hum. The Existence of readers and viewers are really important for literature works and movies. Both are explain how profound society respons for ones creation. Respons usually comes from a couple of reasons: theme, characters, background, etc. As story gives a blank space in order to make the story complete. This Thesis used Pragmatic approach supported with literature reception theory by Wolfgang Iser. The aim of this research is to see how the viewers reception towards blank space in a web serial "Sore:Istri dari Masa Depan". This Research used qualitative method, which is gathering the supporting data through interviews with 6 respondences who have different backgrounds. While for presenting the data analysis researcher used descriptive analysis method. The findings of this research are as follows: the blanks as depicted in Sore:Istri dari Masa Depan web series is resulting interaction between the viewers with the web series. Both active and passive responses are given by the six viewers. Five of the viewers favor on how the plot of Sore:Istri dari Masa Depan web series impress, in spite of one of them think of its ordinary. Viewers’ receptions on blanks as depicted in the web series are diverse depending to timing, place and social environment which affect.
