PENGARUH LEVEL PEMBERIAN PAKAN TERHADAP KUANTITAS DAN KUALITAS FESES SAPI MADURA JANTAN

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the dung quantity and quality of Madura cattle fed at the different level feeding. This study used male Madura cattle which was given complete feed. The materials were feces of male Madura cattles after receiving the treatments. The experimental design was completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments used were different feeding level: T1 complete feed 2,5%, T2 complete feed 3,0%, and T3 complete feed 3,5% weight at 100% dry matter base. The results showed that feeding level were gave significantly different (P<0,01) on feces production and crude protein in feces but showed no significantly different (P>0,05) on crude fat and crude fiber of feces. It can be concluded that different feeding level gave effect (P<0,01) on feces production and crude protein in feces but could not give an effect (P>0,05) on crude fat and crude fiber in feces of Madura cattle.
