PROFITABILITAS USAHA JAGAL SAPI DI KABUPATEN PATI PROPINSI JAWA TENGAH [TheProfitability of Cattle-Slaughtering Business in Pati Regency Central Java Province]

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengkaji besarnya penerimaan, pendapatan dan profitabilitas agribisnis jagal sapi di Kabupaten Pati Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode “explanatory survey” dengan menggunakan 20 sampel dari 35 populasi usaha jagal sapi di 9 lokasi Kecamatan dari 20 Kecamatan. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara wawancara berpedoman pada daftar pertanyaan, dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan Mei 2004. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan cara statistik sederhana dan analisis diskripsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata sapi yang dipotong setiap bulan sebanyak 30,4 ekor atau 3.214,60 kg karkas. Rata-rata penerimaan usaha sebulan sebesar Rp. 107.738.075; rata-rata pendapatan sebelum kena pajak sebesar Rp. 11.733.028,80. Tingkat perputaran modal 3,17 kali dan rata-rata profitabilitas 32,75%. Nilai prosentase profitabilitas ini lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan suku bunga bank. Kata kunci : profitabilitas, penerimaan, jagal sapi ABSTRACT The research was carried out to elucidate the revenue, income and profitability of cattleslaughtering business in Pati Regency Central Java Province. The study was conducted by explanatory survey method, using 20 samples chosen from 35 cattle-slaughtering businesses in 9 of 20 districts.The data were collected by interview guidance with the questionnaires from March to May 2004. The data were analyzed using the statistical tabulation and descriptive analyses. The results showed that the average of carcass weight was 3,214.60 kg per month and the average revenue of cattle-slaughtering business was Rp. 107,738,075 per month. The average of income before tax, the return of capital (investment), and the profitability were Rp. 11,733,028.80,- ; 3.17 and 32.75%; respectively.
