Abstract
ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kecernaan daun eceng gondok yang difermentasi Aspergilus niger selama 6 minggu dan pengaruhnya dalam ransum terhadap performan ayam broiler. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah aras pemberian daun eceng gondok fermentasi sebesar 0, 2,5; 5 dan 7,5%. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis ragam dan bila terdapat pengaruh dilanjutkan dengan uji wilayah ganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan daun eceng gondok hasil fermentasi berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) terhadap kecernaan nutrien ransum dan pertambahan bobot badan. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah penggunaan daun eceng gondok fermentasi maksimal sebesar 5% dalam ransum ayam broiler. Kata kunci : fermentasi, eceng gondok, Aspergilus niger, kecernaan ABSTRACT The objective of this research were to evaluate the digestibility of nutrients fermented by Eichchornia Crassipes with Aspergilus niger in 6 weeks and the efect on broiler performance. This research was designed using completely randomized design of one-way pattern. The treatments were different levels of fermented Eichchornia Crassipes : 2.5%; 5% and 7.5% in the broiler ration. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance and if there was an effect of treatment, then it was analized by Duncan multiple range test. The result of this research showed significant difference (p<0,05) on digestibility of nutrients and average daily gain. The fermented Eichchornia Crassipescould be used maximum at 5% in the ration without influencing the performance of broilers. Keywords : fermentation, eceng gondok, Aspergilus niger, digestibility
