PENGARUH PENGALAMAN KERJA, MODAL, JAM KERJA DAN JUMLAH ANGGOTA KELUARGA TERHADAP PENDAPATAN NELAYAN DI DESA ASEMDOYONG KECAMATAN TAMAN, KABUPATEN PEMALANG

Abstract

As a developing country with abundant natural wealth, many Indonesians produce in the primary sector, which is agriculture, animal husbandry, livestock, fisheries and fisheries. The fisheries subsector is one of the most potential primary subsectors. This happened because of the abundance of Indonesian fisheries source. Asemdoyong Village in Pemalang District has the highest fish production compared to other villages. Aside from that, on the results of a survey that shows work experience, capital, high working hours and the number of family members must be able to increase income in Asemdoyong Village. With this in mind, supposedly income could be increased. However, the income of fishermen in Asemdoyong Village is relatively low. The aim of this study is to analyze the influence of working experience, capital, high working hours, number of family members towards fishermen’s income in Asemdoyong village. This study was done by interview and survey toward Asemdoyong fishermen. Data collected was analyzed using multiple linear regression with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) approach using SPSS Statistics. Dependent variables used in this study was fishermen income, whereas work experience, capital, high working hours and the number of family members were used as independent variables. This study used primary data through interview with detailed questionnair and secondary data through books and literatures. Number of samples were 79 fishermen. The result of this study show that work experience, capital, high working hours and the number of family members give significant influence toward fishermen’s income of Asemdoyong fishermen of Pemalang Regency.
