KAJIAN KINERJA PENYULUH PERTANIAN DI WILAYAH KERJA BALAI PENYULUHAN PERTANIAN DI KABUPATEN SEMARANG

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze a) perpormance level of food crops agricultural extention worker in Semarang District b) the factors that related to performance level of food crops agricultural extention worker in Semarang District. Respondents of this research were 104 consists 78 agriculture instructor, that consist of civil servants and agricultural extension workers, and 26 farmers became assisted farmer groups which were choosen by purposive sampling. Sample was carried out in 10 agricultural extension centers in Semarang District that is agricultural extension centers Ungaran Timur, Pringapus, Bringin, Pabelen, Tuntang, Ambarawa, Getasan, Banyubiru, Sumowono, and agricultural extension centers Bandungan. Performance level of agricultural extension worker method survey and, questionnaire was analyzed descriptively and hypothesis was analyzed by used multiple regression. The result of this research showed that performance level of agricultural extention worker was good with value 80,41(NPK). Internal factors such as age, years of service and education levels have relation to performance level of agricultural extention worker in Semarang District. External factors such as facilties have relation to performance level of agricultural extention worker. External factors number of farmers, have no relation to performance level of agricultural extention worker in Semarang District.
