ANALISIS KONTRASTIF KATA MAJEMUK BERUNSUR NOMINA PADA BAHASA JEPANG DAN BAHASA JAWA 日本語とジャワ語における複合語名詞の対照分析

Abstract

Thesis, Departement of Japanese Language and Culture, Faculty of Humanities, Diponegoro University. The Advisor: Dr.M. Suryadi, M.Hum and Lina Rosliana, S.S., M.Hum. This research aims to describe the elements, inter-elements relation, and similarities and differences between Japanese and Javanese noun compounds. The data of this research are limited to Japanese and Javanese noun compounds which have equal meaning. The Japanese-language data were taken from Asahi Shimbun website, One, Tabi Labo, and the Javanese-language data were taken from Panjebar Semangat magazine. The method that used in this research is a translational matching method where the Japanese and Javanese language become the determinants. In more advance technique, the used techniques which are technique of inserting, technique of changing, and technique of reversing. As in theories, there is structural analysis theory by Leonard Bloomfield especially about compound words structure was used in this research. The result of this research show that the Japanese and Javanese language’s noun compound that have equivalent meaning were generally (1) consist of two words (2) fulfill the features of non-insertion, modification, and inverse (3) consist of the same word category (4) have head-attribute relation (5) were endocentric word compound (6) have different way of writing (7) have pattern differences (8) have structures differences (9) have morphophonemic-changing differences.
