Film Flying Colors tell of a high school student named Sayaka Kudo who struggled go in to college. Sayaka is a high school student whose academic ability is on par with 4th grade student, because she did not study for 5 years since she in junior high school. To be able go in to college, Sayaka followed a study guide that made her meet Tsubota sensei. Sayaka experienced changes and increased values since she in tutoring place. And finally she was able to go in to Keio University. The reason for researching this film is because Flying Colors is an inspiring film. The problem studied were analyzing the narrative structure related to the film Flying Colors and the influence of education on the personality of the Sayaka Kudo figure. The purpose of this study was to reveal the narrative structure related to the film Flying Colors and explain the effect of education on the personality of the Sayaka Kudo figure. In this study the method used is the method of providing data, namely by collecting data relating to taking references from books and the internet and watching repeatedly the Flying Colors movie, methods of data analysis, namely by analyzing films with narrative structure theory, behavioristic theory Clark L Hull, and general personality psychology, then the method of presenting results is to describe the results of the research in descriptive sentences. The result to be achieved in this study were adecation that influenced Sayaka Kudo’s personality and the changes she made.
