Abstract

Aulia, Asyifa, 2018. Hirz Al-Yamaniy Primbon Script abaout Manuscript Studies and Reception to Boarding School As-Syamsyuriyah Student of Jagalempeni Village, Wanasari Sub-district, Brebes District. Thesis. Faculty of Cultural Science, Diponegoro University. Supervisor I Drs. M. Muzakka, M. Hum, Supervisor II Nur Fauzan Ahmad, S.S., M.A. Hirz Al-Yamaniy Primbon Script is an ancient manuscript that contains prayers, amulets, and virtues of the Morning Prayer. Hirz Al-Yamaniy Primbon Script is stored in the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Medan Merdeka Selatan Street No. 11, RT. 11/RW.2, Gambir, Senen, Central Jakarta, Special Region of Jakarta. Researcher emphasized the research on texts containing the hirz yaman prayers, amulets or talismans. The theories used in this study were philology and reception, followed by the work steps. The research methods used in this study were data collection, data processing, and presentation of the data analysis results. Data collection was done by field studies, literature studies, and distribution of questionnaires. The data processing was divided into two charts, which was philology and reception. Afterwards the data were presented descriptively. The analysis result of the Hirz Al-Yamaniy Primbon Script was divided into two matters, which were (1) response of the Pondok Pesantren As-Syamsyuriyah Santri, Jagalempeni Village, Wanasari Sub-district, Brebes District towards the Hirz Al-Yamaniy Primbon Script, responses are divided in two, namely the respon of the student in general and specifically (2) purpose of the Hirz Al-Yamaniy Primbon Prayers, prayer to get offspring, opening prayer for sustenance, asking for happiness in the hereather.
