Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem penyaluran tenaga listrik Jawa-Bali merupakan sistem interkoneksi yang saling terhubung satu sama lain membentuk satu sistem operasi transmisi tegangan tinggi dan tegangan ekstra tinggi. Lebih dari 70% gangguan pada saluran udara merupakan gangguan fasa-tanah yang bersifat tahanan tinggi sehingga mengakibatkan perlunya sistem proteksi yang mampu mengamankan sistem dari segala celah yang dapat mengakibatkan kerusakan peralatan. Relai directional earth fault merupakan relai komplemen dari relai jarak, yang mampu mengamankan sistem dari gangguan high resistance yang tidak dapat dideteksi oleh relai jarak. Dalam tugas akhir ini dibuat alat simulasi untuk mengetahui prinsip kerja Directional Earth Fault menggunakan relay OMRON MY2N 12 V, sensor arus ACS712, dan berbasis Arduino Mega 2560 sebagai pusat pengendali keseluruhan rangkaian. Setting arus DEF adalah 0,2 Ampere dengan beban normal berupa lampu 100 W 220 V dan gangguan berupa resistor. Setelah dilakukan percobaan, hasil yang diperoleh adalah relay tidak bekerja ketika beban menyala. Sedangkan ketika kondisi gangguan, relay bekerja ketika nilai arus forward berada diatas 0,44A sehingga arus melebihi setting kerja relay. Kemudian ketika gangguan reverse, relay bekerja ketika nilai arus reverse berada diatas 0,4A sehingga arus gangguan sebesar kurang dari arus setting. Hal ini menandakan selektifitas Directional Earth Fault berhasil. Kata kunci :Arduino Mega 2560, Directional Earth Fault, relay ABSTRACT The Java-Bali power line system is a system that is interconnected to one another forming a high voltage transmission operation system and extra high voltage operation system. More than 70% of airway disruption is a highresistance, ground-phase interference that results in the need for a protection system capable of securing the system from any gaps that can damage the equipment. The directional earth fault relay is a complementary relay of a distance relays, capable of securing the system from high resistance interference that can not be detected by the distance relays. In this final project, a simulation device is made to know the working principle of Directional Earth Fault using 12 V DC OMRON MY2N relay, ACS712 current sensor, and Arduino Mega 2560 which serves as the central control and processing for the whole device. The DEF current setting is 0.2 Ampere with normal load using 100 W 220 V lamp and disturbance current is obtained from the resistor. The result of the experiment is that relay will not work when normal load is applied to the circuit, because the current flows below the setting. Whereas when the forward disturbance is applied, relay does not work when the current value is 0.35 A, because the current is belows the relay setting. The relay works when the current value is above 0.44 A. Then when the reverse disturbance occurs, relay does not work when the current value is 0.35 A, because the current is above the relay setting. The relay works when the reverse current value is above 0.44 A. This indicates the selectivity of DEF protection is succeeded. Keywords: Arduino Mega 2560, Directional Earth Fault, relay
