Abstract

ABSTRAK Sistem Kopel 20 kV diperlukan untuk back up maupun efisiensi waktu terkait pelimpahan beban. Kata kunci: drop tegangan, pelimpahan beban, PMT Kopel ABSTRACT Couple 20 kV system required for back up and time efficiency associated with load overload. The importance for optimization of coupling is to accelerate the process of moving the load of the transformer if there is work on one of the transformers, but also when using Couple also there will be no change in lines configuration. If the transfer of load is carried out through the line, it will make the line become longer which will cause a voltage drop due to greater losses. The electric power system at PLN has a maximum standard of voltage drop that is in accordance with SPLN 72: 1987. Based on the description, a simulation prototype is used to optimize PMT Kopel to reduce the voltage drop in the line. In the simulator using Arduino Mega 2560 as the main microcontroller. To detect voltage in the line used a voltage sensor. VTScada software is used for monitoring and controlling simulation prototype. From the load shedding simulation results show that switching load through Couple is easier than maneuvering through switching equipment. When the load is carried out through coupling the voltage drops from 11.6 V to 10.6 V. While when through the lines the voltage drops to 10.2 V. And for the average reading error on the measurement between multimeter and VTScada that is equal to 1.77% caused by scaling in the VTScada software. Keywords: drop voltage, load shedding, couple
