Abstract

ABSTRAK Indonesia merupakan wilayah yang rentan terkena bencana banjir, terutama pada musim penghujan. Kerugian akibat bencana banjir diantaranya kerusakan tempat tinggal maupun korban jiwa. Hal tersebut terjadi karena tidak adanya antisipasi terhadap bencana banjir yang datang. Perkembangan teknologi memberikan solusi dalam sebuah perancangan pendeteksi banjir menggunakan sensor water level PLC Schneider TM221CE16R DAN SMS . Pada perancangan tugas akhir ini, sistem menggunakan SMS sebagai media pengirim informasi kepada pengguna tentang tinggi permukaan air. Sistem ini menggunakan PLC sebagai pengendali input yaitu sensor water level dan Arduino UNO sebagai pengendali output, yaitu menampilkan informasi ketinggian air pada LCD, dan berkomunikasi dengan modem GSM agar dapat mengirimkan SMS kepada handphone pengguna.SMS akan dikirim disemua level tinggi air.Pengiriman SMS tiap level ketinggian air membutuhkan waktu 90 detik.SMS dapat dikirimkan ke beberapa nomor secara bergantian. Kata kunci: Arduino UNO,Banjir, PLC, SMS,water level ABSTRACT Indonesia is an area that is vulnerable to flood disasters, especially in the rainy season. Losses due to floods include damage to homes and casualties. This happened because there was no anticipation of the flood disaster that came. The development of technology provides a solution in designing a flood detector using the Schneider TM221CE16R PLC water level sensor and SMS. In this final project design, the system uses SMS as the sending medium of information to the user about the water level. This system uses the PLC as the input controller, namely the water level sensor and Arduino UNO as the output controller, which displays the water level information on the LCD, and communicates with the GSM modem to send SMS to the user's cellphone. SMS will be sent at all high levels of water. SMS sending every level of water level takes 90 seconds. SMS can be sent to several numbers in turn. Keywords: Arduino UNO, Flood, PLC, SMS, water level
