Abstract
ABSTRAK Tempat-tempat seperti rumah sakit, data center dan semua proses kegiatan yang tidak bisa terlepas dari kebutuhan akan energi listrik.Seiring dengan kebutuhan energi listrik yang meningkat serta kurangnya kemampuan PLN memenuhi peningkatan kebutuhan tersebut menjadi faktor dibutuhkannya energi alternatif atau energi cadangan.Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) dan Genset (generator set) adalah pilihan yang tepat pada saat ini.Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan sistem otomasi yang handal guna mengontrol system kerjanya. Dengan sistem otomasi dalam proses perpindahan daya antara PLN-Genset , dapat membantu pengguna dalam proses pengoprasian menjadi lebih efisien dan cepat. Salah satu cara yaitu menggunakan system ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) –MF (main Failure) yang berbasis PLC (Programmable Logic Control).Pada Tugas Akhir ini penyusun mencoba merancang bangun sistem ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch)- MF (Main Failure) yang berbasis PLC Schneider TM221CE16R yang dilengkapi sistem warming up. Kata Kunci :Sistem otomasi,ATS-MF,PLC ABSTRACT Places such as data centers and all activities that cannot be protected from the need for electrical energy. Enough with the increasing energy demand and also the capability needed by PLN becomes the need of alternative energy or reserve energy. Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and Genset (generator set) are the right choice at the moment. Therefore a proper system is required. With the automation system in the process of installing power between PLN-Genset, can help in the operation process becomes more efficient and faster. One way is to use the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) -MF (main Failure) based PLC (Programmable Logic Control). In this Final Final Project and try to build the ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system - MF (Main Failure) based Schneider TM221CE16R PLC equipped with heating system.
