Abstract

ABSTRAK Penggunaan motor induksi tiga fasa saat ini sudah banyak digunakan di industri besar maupun kecil. Pada industri tertentu dibutuhkan sebuah pengontrolan kecepatan motor untuk memutarkan mesin-mesin. Oleh karena itu sangat dibutuhkan alat yang dapat mengubah kecepatan motor induksi tiga fasa untuk mempermudah pekerjaan. Selain itu monitoring pengontrolan motor juga diperlukan untuk menunjang kinerja suatu sistem. Kecepatan motor induksi tiga fasa dapat diatur dengan mengubah frekuensi, maka dari itu dibutuhkan inverter atau VSD ( Variable Speed Drive) yang bertujuan untuk mengatur kecepatan putar dari motor induksi tiga fasa tersebut. Sebagai otak pengontrol VSD (Variable Speed Drive) penyusun menggunakan PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), sehingga motor dapat diatur kecepatanya sesuai yang diinginkan dengan mudah. Pengontrolan kecepatan motor tiga fasa ini dapat diatur melalui HMI (Human Machine Interface). HMI sebagai media penampil hasil pengolahan data yang sudah diolah dan diproses dari PLC, yang menunjukan nilai kecepatan dalam rotasi per menit (rpm) dan frekuensi dalam Hertz, yang diatur menggunakan VSD (Variable Speed Drive). Berdasarkan beberapa hasil percobaan yang diamati pada saat pengukuran, semakin tinggi nilai frekuensi yang diukur maka semakin tinggi nilai kecepatan putarnya. Yaitu dengan f= 10 Hz kecepatan= 300 rpm, f= 20 Hz kecepatan= 600 rpm, f= 30 Hz kecepatan= 900 rpm, f= 40 Hz kecepatan= 1200 rpm, f= 45 Hz kecepatan= 1350 rpm Kata Kunci : frekuensi, PLC, VSD ABSTRACT The use of three-phase induction motors is now widely used in large and small industries. In addition monitoring motor control is also needed to support the performance of a system. The speed of a three-phase induction motor can be adjusted by changing the frequency. Therefore it takes an inverter or VSD (Variable Speed Drive) which aims to adjust the rotational speed of the three phase induction motor. As a VSD (Variable Speed Drive) control brain the writer uses a PLC (Programmable Logic Controlled), so that the motor can be adjusted to the desired design easily. Controlling the speed of this three-phase motor can be regulated through the HMI (Human Machine Interface). HMI as the viewer media results from processing the data that has been processed and processed from the PLC, which shows the speed value in rotations per minute (rpm) and the frequency in Hertz, which is set using VSD (Variable Speed Drive). Based on some experimental results observed at the time of measurement, the higher the measured frequency value, the higher the rotational speed value.
