Abstract

ABSTRAK Konsumsi masyarakat terhadap daging unggas dan telur yang kaya akan protein terus meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Hal ini tentunya harus diimbangi dengan persediaan yang cukup untuk memenuhi ketersedian pangan, sehingga kebutuhan pangan yang mengandung protein tinggi tetap terpenuhi. Upaya mengatasinya yaitu mengganti mesin penetas telur konvensional dengan mesin penetas telur otomatis yang mampu menunjang proses penetasan telur menjadi lebih mudah, hemat, dan praktis. Pada proses penetasan telur dibutuhkan perubahan posisi telur yang dilakukan 3-4 kali per hari dan proses ini mempengaruhi tingkat daya tetas telur. Oleh sebab itu dibutuhkan pemantauan dan pengaturan saat proses perubahan posisi telur. Sistem pengaturan motor DC pada mesin penet as telur otomatis ini menggunakan driver motor dengan teknik Pulse Widht Modulation (PWM) untuk mengatur kecepatan putar motor DC power window. Pengaturan waktu kerja motor DC dengan mengatur waktu Real Time Clock (RTC) pada Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Schneider. Sistem monitoring pada alat ini menggunakan Human Machine Interface (HMI) dengan software Movicon 11.5. Pengaturan kecepatan putar motor DC menggunakan PWM dengan 2 level kecepatan, yaitu 200 PWM dan 230 PWM dengan masing-masing duty cycle sebesar 78,43% dan 90,19%. Setting waktu kerja motor DC pada RTC yaitu jam 07.00 WIB, 15.00 WIB, dan 23.00 WIB dengan selisih 1-2 detik. Hasil pengujian alat penetas telur otomatis, dari 15 butir telur ayam fertil yang berhasil menetas sebanyak 13 butir dan tidak menetas sebanyak 2 butir. Alat penetas telur otomatis ini dapat menjadi solusi bagi peternak dalam proses penetasan telur. This of course must be balanced with sufficient inventory to meet the availability of food, so that the needs of high protein-containing foods remain fulfilled. Efforts to overcome this are replacing conventional egg incubators with automatic egg incubators that are able to support the process of hatching eggs to be easier, more economical, and practical. In the process of hatching the eggs required changes in the position of the eggs which are carried 3-4 times per day and this process affects the level of hatchability of the eggs. Therefore it is necessary to monitor and regulate the process of changing egg position. The DC motor regulation system in this automatic egg incubator uses a motor driver with the Pulse Widht Modulation (PWM) technique to adjust the rotating speed of the DC power window motor. DC motor working time settings by setting the Real Time Clock (RTC) time on Schneider's Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The monitoring system on this tool uses a Human Machine Interface (HMI) with Movicon 11.5 software. The DC motor rotational speed setting uses PWM with 2 speed levels, ie 200 PWM and 230 PWM with each duty cycle of 78.43% and 90.19%. Setting DC motor working time on RTC is 07.00 WIB, 15.00 WIB, and 23.00 WIB with 1-2 seconds difference. The test results of automatic egg incubator, from 15 fertile chicken eggs that hatched as much as 13 points and did not hatch as much as 2 points.
