Have been made plan design of supervising control on automatic liquid filling system use Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). Control system that have been made is a PLC that control three microcontrollers AT89S51. The device made to make easy liquid filling process in a liquid filling machine unit in industry that work automatically. The advantage of the device are can accelerate production process and also can save cost production because all process done automatically without need many operators. The device can be use in liquid packing industry e.g packed drinking water industries, chemical industries, oil packing industries and so on. This automatic control system consist of a microcontroller a PLC OMRON CPM2A that control three microcontrollers AT89S51 in which each of microcontroller controls certain unit that are liquid filling control unit, conveyor control unit, and data transmitting unit to computer. PLC used to give order to run or work to all off microcontroller and receive signal sign condition of each microcontroller and will turn off microcontroller system when trouble come from one or all of microcontroller or PLC work as main control of the system. The result from the research, the device can be used to fill the liquid automatically in a vessel on a conveyor in certain volume. The liquid volume filled on a vessel can be set by setting the software and hardware in liquid filling unit. After be tested the device can work well and the filled liquid volume was set 1 litre.
